Privacy policy

This policy explains what information The Seville Team collects through this website, by text message and by phone, how we use it, and the choices you have. The Seville Team is the real estate practice of Belinda Seville, a licensed Colorado real estate broker with Guide Real Estate. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean The Seville Team.

Information we collect

What you enter in a form. Depending on the form, this can include your name, email address, phone number (optional), ZIP code, move timeline and any message you write. The home valuation form also asks for the property address.
A record of your consent. For each form submission, we keep whether you checked the consent box or boxes, the exact consent wording you were shown, the date and time, and your IP address and browser user agent.
Conversations with our AI assistant. If you ask the assistant on this site to have us contact you, book a time with us or send you a valuation, we keep the conversation transcript as the record of your request and consent. Separately, when the assistant cannot answer a question typed into the chat on this website, we log that question so we can improve the site. Before a question is logged, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses and names you introduce yourself with are removed. These logs are deleted after 90 days.
Texts and calls. If you text or call our business phone number, we receive your phone number and the messages you send. Our calls and text messages are handled by Twilio.
Valuation requests. A property address you enter for a valuation is sent to RentCast to produce an automated estimate of its value.
Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site. Google Analytics uses cookies.
Bot checks. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that the person submitting a form is not a bot.
Property search. The property search on this site is provided by Buying Buddy, an IDX listing service. If you register or save searches there, Buying Buddy’s own privacy policy also applies, and Buying Buddy stores an identifier in your browser.

How we use information

To answer your inquiry.

To send you information you request.
To send a short series of follow-up emails after you request a home valuation. Every email in the series includes a link to stop them.
To keep a record of your consent.
To improve this site.
To comply with the law.

Service providers

These companies process information on our behalf to run this site and our practice:

Vercel: website hosting.
Neon: database.
HighLevel, provided through Astoria360: customer records, our booking calendar, and follow-up emails and text messages.
Twilio: phone calls and text messages.
Resend: email delivery.
Anthropic: the AI model that runs our chat assistant. Messages you type into the chat are sent to Anthropic to generate replies.
Google: Google Analytics, and the Google reviews shown on this site.
Cloudflare: Turnstile bot checks on our forms.
Buying Buddy: property listing search.
RentCast: automated property value estimates.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, by texting or calling us or by checking the optional text message box on a form, we use it only to reply to and follow up on your own inquiry. Message frequency varies with your conversation. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver the messages (such as Twilio and HighLevel).

Reply STOP to any of our text messages to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help. The full terms of our text message program are in our text message terms.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose information when the law requires it, for example in response to a subpoena or court order, or when needed to protect our legal rights.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics 4 uses cookies to measure how this site is used. To opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit, you can install Google’s browser opt-out add-on. The property search, provided by Buying Buddy, stores an identifier in your browser when you register or save searches.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and consent records for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of your consent. After that, we delete them or remove the details that identify you. Records of a real estate transaction are kept for as long as real estate licensing rules require. Questions the chat assistant could not answer are deleted after 90 days.

Your choices

Each of our follow-up emails includes an unsubscribe link.
Reply STOP to any of our text messages to stop receiving them.
To ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, email belinda@thesevilleteam.com.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
